Born to an English mother and a Czech father Marc was raised with a diverse cultural background. Growing up between London and Prague has given him an appreciation for both cultures and sparked a passion for travel and exploration. His upbringing has fuelled a passion for heritage craft and given him an understanding of the important role that craft industries play. Inspired by his heritage, glass still remains his primary material and much of it gets produced in the next village from his grandparents’ farmhouse to this day.
